The Greatness of NKY

Sometimes it seems like there is a hall of fame for everything. Rock ‘n’ Roll? Baseball? We’ve got these important things covered. Mascots? International Clowns? Apparently many people care about these, too. It just didn’t seem right to us that there was no hall of fame honoring the business professionals of Northern Kentucky. Those people unquestionably matter.

That’s why NKY Magazine and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce decided to go ahead and make the Northern Kentucky Business Hall of Fame on their own. In the feature included in this issue, you can read about the five exemplary men and women that we’ve decided to honor. They come from different backgrounds and businesses, but that doesn’t change that fact that they’ve made Northern Kentucky a better place through their work.

In addition to honoring these business professionals, we’re honoring the restaurants that have the best breakfast in the region. Northern Kentucky offers the best of the best in everything from pancakes and French toast to omelets and goetta. With options like these, what’s not to love?

If you’re looking for some fun later in the day, take a look at our article on NKY’s own wine trail. We travel from Camp Springs to Augusta, trying the best wines our region has to offer. Our summer calendar also offers great opportunities to play.

When it comes down to it, this issue is about honoring as many great aspects of Northern Kentucky as we can. This is a region filled with amazing people (and some pretty great food) who deserve recognition. Please enjoy the issue!
