Another Best of NKY party has come and gone, and this year’s was the biggest ever! We had more booths, businesses and attendees than in any of the previous years. In honor of this spectacular outpouring of love for NKY, we’ve made this the largest Best of NKY feature we’ve ever written. This year, you can learn more about every winner and discover these great businesses and people yourself. We’ve also included a list of all of the finalists so you can find more restaurants to enjoy and service providers to try. Northern Kentuckians love NKY; it’s only right that we give you a feature that honors that.

Once you’ve discovered the best Northern Kentucky has to offer, you’ll find there is plenty to explore in the rest of the magazine. Editor Eric Spangler takes you through the Boone County Arboretum, the first arboretum developed within an active recreation park setting. He also introduces you to 10 very special goats that are clearing out the overgrown areas of Goebel Park. Writer Maggie Heath meets Ebony, a labradoodle bringing fun to the Hospice of the Bluegrass. And Rick Robinson notes how the “Best ofs” from his youth are still changing.

There is a lot to love in this issue of NKY. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed making it. Is there a business you consider to be “Best of” worthy? While Best of NKY Party attendees selected this year’s winners, we would love to hear more about what you think makes Northern Kentucky great. Email me your favorites at cminard@cincymagazine.com.
