Location, location, location. While this saying refers to real estate, I think it also applies to finding a doctor. You want excellent care, but you would prefer not to drive far to see them.

Luckily, the region is packed with quality doctors. Our annual Doctors of NKY issue lists the doctors in Northern Kentucky by specialty. We include their location, address and phone number to help guide you in your decision. While we can’t tell you if they’re in network, we can tell you their location and the info needed to find out.

This rest of the issue is also about location. We’ve profiled Garren Colvin, the new CEO of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. A local boy, he knows the region well and is using that knowledge to continue to better the health system’s services.

We’re also featuring the dean of the Northern Kentucky University Haile/US Bank College of Business, Rebecca Porterfield. She’s using NKU’s proximity to companies in NKY and Cincinnati to bring new experiences to the students, while also reaching out to international companies to connect students to the world.

If you’re looking for great entertainment nearby, check out our story on Northern Kentucky’s theater scene. From small experimental theater to large, elaborate shows, you’ll be able to find the kind of show you’re looking for thanks to our guide.

Location really is important. Thankfully, NKY is a great location to be in. We hope you enjoy this issue, and that it reinforces for you why NKY is an ideal place to be.
