2011 Annual Dinner

The
Annual Dinner is the Chamber’s largest annual event, attracting more
than 1,000 members and guests to recognize special volunteers in
community and chamber service with the presentation of four awards. The
gavel of leadership will be passed from the 2010-2011 Chair Eric Haas to
the 2011-2012 Chair Brent Cooper. This year’s theme is “Tipping our hat
to business.”
Green Initiatives Tour
Sept. 15

Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, Cincinnati
Tour
the Cincinnati Zoo’s green facilities with Mark Fisher, Cincinnati
Zoo’s Senior Director of Facilities and Planning. Tour includes the
$19.6 million Historic Vine Street Village with its pervious pavers,
recycled building materials, rainwater harvesting tanks, geothermal heat
pumps and solar panels.

Grypp who is president of the Goering Center for Family and Private
Business at the University of Cincinnati.
Economic Outlook

The
annual Economic Outlook is presented in partnership with the Cincinnati
USA Partnership for Regional Development. The program will include the
local and national economic forecasts. The official Economic Outlook
report will be released that morning and made available to all
attendees.
Emerging 30 Award Reception

The
Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes the 30
fastest growing private and locally owned small businesses. These
emerging companies have reached a benchmark for business growth and
provide valuable feedback for the Chamber to better understand small
business growth and development trends. Recognition is open to companies
three years and older which are privately held and are either
headquartered in Boone, Kenton or Campbell counties, or are Northern
Kentucky Chamber members.
